The bright, bold colorful illustrations continue as Mariana Llanos caps the book off with a deeper look into the cultural and personal context of the book and the night creatures found in Peruvian folklore, which my little one loved pouring over.

Just right for elementary school aged children. Finding the balance between the spook our littles crave and the scares we want to avoid is tough, but this book finds the perfect balance. Slips well into the front of your bedtime reading stack.
